Fighting to embed resilience and personal development in the curriculum
Get involved. Join the fight. Improve student mental wellbeing.
It is evident that across the globe, university students’ mental health and wellbeing is a bigger issue than ever before. We need to introduce new measures incorporated into the higher education curriculum, to ensure students are safe, happy and supported and we need your help to implement them.
We believe that through cultivating self-awareness, self-investment and self-development, individual sustainability can be achieved and mental health and wellbeing can be improved. In order to ensure that the tools to improve mental health and wellbeing are shared as widely as possible, it is essential that these measures are incorporated educational system. Whilst support services like counselling are available, not everybody who is suffering chooses to use them, or controversially, staff can be overwhelmed and outnumbered by the number of people who need them.
Counselling is not the only solution, we bring a new approach to investing in students’ self-care to prevent them going to counselling for an issue that could be prevented, if implemented with an effective solution.
